Birthday Bans

It is a bit due... but most of our blogs are!  Savannah had a three day birthday event!  We can't believe our little girl is one years old!  Our first celebration was at Grandmas and Poppas place.  This was our first birthday party there and it was great.  GG and Auntie Louene were able to join us and a nice time was had by all.

                                         

Second was on her actual day.  We have decided that we will start a tradition of the actual birthdays of our kids will be family days, and the celebration will be days before or after.  It has been great to be able to stop and just be with each other as a family recognizing how quickly the year has passed. Of that day had to start with Asia singing Happy Birthday.

Lastly was a party with friends at home. Kayt made another cake! This time she went with the Hungry Caterpillar theme.

 On a side note she was much more eager to eat the cake than Asia was at her first birthday. 

Bans agrees it was a great way to celebrate the passing of her first year with good friends, family and food.
